Job Highlights

 

  • Support innovation board in corporate innovation steering, e.g. innovation targets & KPIs, corporate & public funding 
  • Establish structured controlling approach to increase share of external funding for R&D and sustainable investment projects 
  • Leverage data, analytics/KI capabilities of LANXESS to build efficient and automated processes 
  • Manage and integrate relevant stakeholders – advise with respect to commercial requirements of external funding and ensure team approach across BU/GF borders and motivate others to go the extra mile 
  • Build your network within and beyond LANXESS: connect across the organization, build trustful relationship with BU & GF stakeholders and external experts / consultants 
  • Lead and manage the annual R&D / F&E report to be presented to the Supervisory Board 
  • Contribute to further development of internal company processes, tools and respective trainings

Requirements

 

  • University degree in natural sciences, technical or commercial fields
  • Experience in innovation controlling and R&D controlling in the chemical industry 
  • Several years of experience, preferably in commercial public funding management 
  • Advanced statistics and data analytics know how, as well as proficiency in planning and reporting tools  
  • Project management skills, ideally in multi-stakeholder settings across organizational borders 
  • Preferably with international experience and an international mindset 
  • High level of analytical capabilities, initiative, and commitment coupled with a strong, thorough and goal-oriented service approach 
  • Fluent in German and English
