Job Highlights

 

  • Plant Manager Assistant – Arrange international and domestic travel and process expense reports.  Assist in researching expenditures issues.  Coordinate meals, facility, and IT requirements for meeting/events onsite and offsite.  Maintain calendar and schedules meetings as necessary.
  • Logistics Coordinator Back-up Support – Process orders for railcars, trucks, & containers to meet customer requirements.  Schedule loadings and coordinate with carriers.  Compile daily railcar report from various sources.  Handle any delivery issues with Customer and carriers.  Track butane usages.
  • Budget/Actuals – Generate monthly expenditure detail reports for analysis and planning from SAP.  Conduct Monthly Variance Analysis of personnel/plant expenditures.  Generate planning worksheets for annual budget inputs.  Process service entries in SAP for vendor invoices and insure charges are valid and accurate.  Maintain Covestro Excel files for management monitoring and annual planning.  Generate vendor Purchase Requests and insure POs properly used when processing invoices.
  • Plant Personnel Assistant – Arrange travel and process expense reports.  Assist with charts/presentations for monthly report or meetings.  Assist staff with visitor access, transporting visitors back and forth to the Covestro  site gate.  Assist with employee information/benefits.
  • General Office – Responsible for Document Control for ISO, Responsible Care, and Regulatory compliance. Coordinate Annual Procedure Reviews (LMS/eMax) with plant personnel to review, revise, and publish all procedures as necessary.  Participate in plant audits as an ISO Internal Auditor.  Handle internal and external audit preparations.  Maintain product data bases (NWH/Excel).  Maintain and order office supplies (ProShop).  Coordinate all IT activities regarding PCs & copier/printers.  Plant Suggestion Program Coordinator.  Maintains plant databases (Action Items, Incident/Near Hits, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Ideas for Improvement).

Requirements

 

  • Requires a High School Graduate/GED
  • 5 to 10 years experience in similar environment
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, SAP, Lotus Notes, Internet Explorer, Rail Manager, Union Pacific Website, Shipment Vision, Concur, International and Domestic Travel Arranging
  • Ability to multi-tasking, troubleshooting, problem solving, work independently, time management, project coordination, and organizational skills
  • Able to handle confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive material/information. 
  • Driver license in good standing and the ability to drive company vehicle both on and off site.
