Job Highlights

  • Fully remote opportunity in the Houston, Dallas or Fort Worth, Texas area.
  • Manage Key Accounts for LANXESS' Lubricant Additive Business (LAB) with account and budget responsibility, developing and maintaining key account plans while keeping CRM current.
  • Manage Regional and Distributor accounts for LANXESS LAB with account and budget responsibility.
  • Maintain pricing, visit reports, key focus projects and potentials in CRM Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Sells value vs competitive offers to gain customer commitments.
  • Develops product/service improvements for new market opportunities by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors and customer offerings.
  • Trade show participation-AFPM, ILMA, STLE and NLGI as assigned by management.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science, Engineering or a related field or comparable experience.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Selling skills and business savvy with a customer focus while driving results.
  • Ability to identify, research and connect with potential new opportunities.
  • People management skills with ability to influence.
  • Relationship, team building, and conflict management skills are crucial.
  • Strategic thinking, creativity and imagination.
  • Manages complexity to favorable outcomes.
  • Travel required up to 50 percent of the time.
