Job Highlights
  • Understanding and providing technical support about product offerings in the Americas markets and representation in technical trade and professional associations for the best interest to Liquid Purification Technologies (LPT) technical development in North, Central and South America (Regional Scope)
  • Supporting sales efforts, by region and by segment, with IX projects tracking, product samples to be tested, basic designs, technical information analysis, troubleshooting assistance and new business development, visiting as necessary, according to sales and marketing goals
  • Providing permanent technical training to sales people, distributors and customers when necessary, updating technical presentations, compiling and exercising technical presentations to market players in coordination with the market segment managers and HQ and global technical counterparts
  • Responsible for the customer service/ application laboratory operation, functioning and service development, according to LPT global guidance, for technical service protocols and test methodologies, revision of product literature, field samples management, in coordination with global technical counterparts
  • In addition, this position plays a very important role in executing the LPT strategy through interacting with customers and distributors, trade and professional associations, conferences and symposiums, in coordination with the LPT business segment managers, and regional business managers
  • Chemist or Chemical Engineer, with experience in ion exchange applications for water treatment, organic and inorganic chemistry, Business Master degree or PhD degree of advantage
  • Must have 5-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong skills in the areas project management, planning, organization, coordinating and innovation
  • Self-management - being able to operate independently with necessary guidance and minimum supervision
  • Ability to cope with occasional stress, urgent timelines, customer requests, multiple and changing priorities
  • Communication skills - both verbal and written are critical, both remotely and traveling to customers
  • Familiarity with systems such as CRM, MS Office, April Star, SAP
  • Have a general understanding of regulatory and product safety information (including TSCA, DSL) and how this relates to each product, assisting as well on internal and external audits as needed
