Job Highlights

The Training and HSE Specialist develops updates and coordinates all trainings for the Charleston site including training for new hires and current employees, as well as create site specific trainings.  They will also support the HSSE department on projects which support the Charleston site.

  1. Develops, implements and delivers training for technical level employees which include proposed deadlines and supportive tasks for planning, designing, and development of all training materials to support ongoing operation.

  2. Design creative and effective varieties of training methodologies, including on-site instructor-led classroom session, one-on-one instructor-led sessions, webinars, job aids, e-learning, training guides and databases to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.

  3. Sets up and coordinates the onboarding and orientation of new hires

  4. Manage program effectiveness: delivery satisfaction, transfer of knowledge and skills back into the workplace, making modifications based on findings and feedback  and update as needed.

  5. Responsible for supporting management and administration of the corporate LMS training, coordinate safety trainings for the Charleston facility to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, participate in safety audits, coordinate the annual physicals and updating technical and HSE procedures.


  • Bachelor's Degree in technical field.  Discipline in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering is a plus
  • 5+ years expeirence with demonstrated examples of training projects implemented
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self starter, strong relationship management abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills
