Job Highlights

Combined position for 2 BL's now.Directly involved in the daily business of sales & Business development of SRP & FTA.First point of contact for customers for the assigned territory.Deals with purchasing/Production/Technical/R&D/Accounts/Stores of customer.As interface between customer & LXS identifies secondary market potentials with distributors/resellers & their training to meet the projected growth.Responsible for safety parameters,maintaining company's value in the market,Legal guidelines while dealing with multiple competitive environment of the market.Value addition to customers products while implementaing BU strategy for SRP & FTA product groups in the southern region including Srilanka.Main champion for BU RCH commodities & Specialties business in the specified region to drive key products growth in the area profitably.

Requirements

  • Responsible for Top line sales & sell products as per BU guideline on margin/profitability.               
  • Expolring new business potentials through targetted efforts inorder to enhance growth
  • Achieve defined sales numbers
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely support & service
  • Ensure performanceof the products based on knowledge of the end applications and provide feedback to the Reporting Manager               
  • Increase in customer satisfaction index through timely support & service on pre and after sales issues such as right product offerings and attending to Technical complaints and if necessary escalating to HQ for further action    
  • New order booking, to identify potential sales prospective for accomplishing Business Unit's growth target in respective regions
  • Ensure vital contacts of the key customers are established and maintained               
  • Responsible for commercial market and customwer analysis, analyzing market trends and identifying the business opportunities and tracking key competitors               
  • Need specialised selling knowledge of value added products like additives.Product has to be proved first in the R& D lab or even in the shop floor to derive value.Close interactions in complex industrail environment is necessary.
  • Good written & verbal communication/Conflict management skills      
  • Regional cultural knowledge/Tamil Speaking/Negotiating skills    
  • Computer literacy (PPT/Excel/Word/CRM)    
  • Delivering presentions to customers/ Go getter/Self motivation to grow business 
  • Education - Graduate  in Engineering (Polymer/Rubber Technology/Chemical Engg) with 12-15 years of experience in Sales of Industrial Chemicals or Science Graduate with 15 years of relevant experience
