Production Supervisor

Job Highlights

  • Supervise, coach and hold operators accountable on procedures and company policy 
  • Manage daily production activities (Blending, Grease, chemplant, packaging as needed) to meet safety, quality and production goals.
  • Develop standard Operating Procedures and training for emplpyees
  • Support plant initiatives in Compliance, Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement
  • Provide strong team collaboration with other department: Quality, Maintenance etc.
  • Works on cross functional teams at the site and provide supervisory support to the Packaging and logistic operators as needed
  • Communicate well and often.  Actively engage in “Peer to Peer” interaction. 
  • Monitor and track performance, KPI and optimize workforce to meet requirement
  • Implement assigned Safety critical activities such as performing lockout tag out on equipment, signing on line breaking permit etc..
  • Maintain good housekeeping and 6S activities
  • Ensure SAP transaction are accurately done in a timely manner
  • Work with Plant scheduler and assign task to individuals to ensure good productivity
  • Manage overtime, improve workforce efficiency and prioritize task accordingly
  • Ensure all  regulatory and safety inspections are done in a timely manner
  • Perform periodic Audit: 6S Audit, Line Production Audit etc…
  • Participate in PHAs, plant project and provide ideas for continous improvement
  • Proactively respond safely and quickly to process abnormalities.
  • Participate in safety program, first aid or other site activities as needed
  • Additional task as assigned or required based on business needs


  • Bachelor degree from accredited university or college (Preferably engineering background)
  • At least 2-4 years’ experience in supervisory role in manufacturing or operations
  • Production Planning experience
  • Fast learner, technical troubleshooting skills
  • Interpersonal and leadership skill
  • SAP, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Clear and comprehensive communication in English (written/verbal)
  • Willingness to work additional/extended hours as needed to meet production goals
  • Ability to spend extended time standing/walking
  • Climb stairs and ladders
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
