Job Highlights

  • Leads and supports Process optimization efforts including:    

- Lean manufacturing efforts and implementing lean improvements

- Manufacturing efficiency and cost improvements

- Process improvement projects

- Continuous improvement in manufacturing including recommending and implementing improvements in production flow or methods

  • Supports HSE efforts and programs.

 - Supports HSE efforts to ensures the compliance of the environmental, health & safety standards and processes in a chemical plant.

- Ensures compliance with safety rules and regulations

- Performs incident investigation as required  

- Participates and supports Hazops (Hazard and Operability reviews) and PHAs (Process Hazard Analyses).

  • Develops, reviews, revises and field verifies: operating procedures (SOPs), P&IDs, forms, checklists as required.
  • Develops, reviews and implements manufacturing processes changes (MOCs) for both existing and new proposed processes.
  • Leads and supports process control efforts including advanced control and automation as well as process information management at the site.
  • Troubleshoots operational issues including manufacturing related quality issues.
  • Provides Production/Supervisory support as needed (such as SAP support, SAP, Inventory management, excel data etc.)
  • Supports manufacturing strategic planning to ensure manufacturing capabilities are able to meet current and planned business needs and directly oversees tactical execution of these plans.
  • Troubleshoots operational issues including manufacturing related quality issues.
  • Other Task as assigned /Interdepartmental team collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 
  • Prior experience in Process Engineering - 7 years' desired. 
  • PSM (Process Safety Management) experience including HAZOPs, PHA, and JHA experience) 
  • Continuous Improvement Methodology: Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Microsoft: Excel, Word, Project
  • DCS, PLC experience (desired)
