Job Highlights

Lead project development and management efforts related to brine downhole remediation, drilling, and surface equipment projects, ensuring cost control and timely completion.

Drive reliability improvements and performance optimization for subsurface and surface equipment.

Support and ensure compliance with AOGC and PHMSA regulatory requirements; prepare and submit regulatory forms and notifications to the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission related to drilling and workover activities.

Provide expertise in Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) to ensure facilities effectively mitigate process safety risks.

Actively contribute to Process Safety Management (PSM) and process improvement initiatives aligned with departmental KPIs.

Develop and manage budgets and capital planning processes.

Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams on special projects and continuous improvement efforts.

Utilize and maintain production systems and SAP to manage operational data and project tracking.

Participate in department leadership activities, including cost management, goal setting, and performance reviews.

Complete the leadership development plan and provide vacation leadership coverage when required.
Experience and Skills
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
-
3+ years of experience in oil and gas or brine field operations. Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Engineer I role.

Proven success in reliability engineering, wellbore repair, project management, and PSM activities.

Experience developing and managing budgets, schedules, and project deliverables.
Skills and Attributes:

Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong technical aptitude in equipment reliability, process safety, and project execution.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions and levels.

Working knowledge of SAP and production management systems.

Demonstrated leadership potential and business acumen.
