Job Highlights

  • Responsible for waste characterization, profiling and investigations for 3 chemical plant sites
  • Manage hazardous waste handling, storage and transport requirements and reporting
  • Develop commercial agreements with Procurement 
  • Interpret waste rules and ensure compliance
  • Waste minimization project development 
  • Evaluate needed RCRA and DOT training

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of waste management experience
  • Knowledge of RCRA requirements are a must
  • CHMM certification strongly preferred
  • Experience operating a waste program in an ISO 14001 environment strongly preferred
  • Must be able to work in the field as needed with exposure to outdoor elements and chemical plant operations; must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
