Job Highlights

  • Manage a diverse team of engineers and technicians
  • Promote, expand, and support South Arkansas Reliability and Mechanical Integrity efforts
  • Understand and apply RAGAGEPs
  • Manage the ISO Shop in support of the container fleet maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with the bromine business team to support and deploy the execution of maintenance strategies related to repair of the ISO container fleet
  • Perform criticality assessments of plant assets and apply the most appropriate maintenance strategies to ensure and enhance asset health
    • As part of the assessment identify critical spare parts
    • Review and update critical equipment maintenance strategies
  • Assess and communicate to the leadership team the need for workforce skills training
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), make recommendations to eliminate the root causes and follow up with correct actions to ensure the root cause(s) are eliminated
  • Identify, implement, and drive process improvements
  • Drive continuous improvement and failure reduction processes in order to contribute to stable and reliable operations with reduction of total costs 

Requirements

  • B.S. Mechanical Engineering or related degree 
  • Eight (8) plus years of engineering experience with (3) plus years of reliability experience with fixed and rotating assets
  • Familiar with and understand RCA, FMEA, FEA, and Cause and Effect Analysis
  • Working knowledge of fluid dynamics and the applications related to mass flow rate calculations, pump affinity laws, pump sizing, piping friction loss calculations, etc.
  • SAP experience and Six Sigma a plus
  • Excellent rotating and fixed equipment troubleshooting skills
  • Understand and able to apply RAGAGEP to include but not limited to ASME section VIII Div.1, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, API 510, API 570, API 574, API 653, API 1104, state boiler code, and registered vessel requirements
  • Understand requirements for certification and recertification of personnel in welding, CWI, and NDE specifically vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil analysis, visual testing, penetrant testing, and ultrasonic thickness testing
  • Experience and knowledge of DOT and international regulations such as but not limited to TP-10, DOT, ABS, and IMDG related to container maintenance and dangerous goods requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and be eligible to drive company vehicle
