Job Highlights

 

  • This position is responsible for Maintenance and programming of all PLC, DCS, and SIS systems.
  • Maintenance and programming of all PLC, DCS, and SIS systems. Laison between IT on PI issues.  Create PI tags and maintain Process Control Network.
  • Attend PHA reviews.
  • Lead for loop checks on new projects.  Maintaining documentation of checks and ensuring they meet Lanxess standards
  • Assist E&I and Operations with process troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with engineering on control descriptions, I/O allocation, and P&ID compliance
  • Monitor equipment end-of-life and propose equipment modifications and upgrades, when required.
  • Field work consisting of replacing PLC cards and troubleshooting control room computers

Requirements

 

  • 5+ years of PLC/DCS programming experience. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Automation or Engineering preferred.
  • Knowledge of field E&I devices
  • Microsoft Office (excel) proficiency required
  • Critical Thinking, focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience in PLC, DCS, SIS Programming and hardware
