Job Highlights

 

  • Responsible for running the entire BRU and PT process
  • Responsible for issuing, auditing and closing Safe Work Permits including pre-and post- walkthroughs
  • Responsible for writing Work Order notifications for maintenance in SAP system
  • Lead/Perform Lock-Out/ Tag-Out on electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Perform PM on reactors, safety showers, Bromine transfer piping, and initiate corrective actions as required.
  • Assist IOB operators when available
  • Effectively communicate process and issues to process specialist
  • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly inspection records for all equipment as required
  • Competent in using LIMS Sample Manager software
  • Review, update and follow SOPs, JSAs and HECP Plan as necessary
  • Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in unit (including areas outside area of responsibility)
  • Expected to trouble shoot process and equipment issues, and address them to prevent HSEQ, and reliability problems
  • Expected to understand the program and control logics set up in the process
  • Responsible for un-loading raw material from tank trailers
  • Responsible for maintaining records in the log book, and process batch sheets
  • Responsible for maintaining and reporting inventory of raw material
  • Expected to be able to initiate MOCs in velocity system
  • Acquire a working knowledge of methyl bromide process operation

Requirements

 

  • Must be safety conscious and able to follow written work procedures.
  • 5+ years of operations experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Boiler's license preferred.
  • Demonstrated computer skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
