Job Highlights

  • Safe and efficient operations of the Bromine area by completing, supporting, and participating in all assigned tasks
  • Maintain a “Win As A Team Attitude”
  • Good attendance is a must
  • Ensure all Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Production policies, procedures, SOPs, and regulations related to the area are followed
  • Monitor the process in the field and/or in control room to identify and report unusual and unsafe conditions
  • Willingness to cross train on all operations within the plant including high pressure boiler operations, Lab functions, tower operations, and all other processes, is expected.
  • Regularly make rounds to Identify and address routine maintenance requirements, area housekeeping needs, and create work notifications as needed
  • Perform minor maintenance to piping and equipment as needed.
  • Be able to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Maintain accurate record keeping
  • Have and maintain high standards for housekeeping in your work areas and the entire plant as a whole

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Must be a team player
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work any shift including 12 hour rotating day/night shifts and overtime as required
  • Be able to work holidays and weekends
  • Previous experience in operations is a plus
  • Mechanical aptitude (working with pipe wrenches and tools needed for plant activities and minor maintenance)
  • Experience in operating a forklift or ability to learn
  • Must have a valid driver license
