Job Highlights

  • Safe and efficient operations of the PDBS unit by supporting and participating in all related projects
  • Ensure all Safety and Environmental policies are followed
  • Follow good housekeeping practices to ensure area meets expectations
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed
  • Ability to cross train on all operations within the area
  • Monitor the process in the field and/or in control room to report unusual and unsafe conditions
  • Identify routine maintenance requirements
  • Participate in activities and meetings which will enhance plant safety, reliability, cost and environmental performance as well as area production objectives
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with site standards and coach others to do the same

Requirements

  • High School Diploma 
  • Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously
  • Must be a team player
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work a twelve-hour rotating day/night shift and overtime as needed
  • Previous experience in operations is a plus
  • May require membership in Fire Brigade
  • Mechanical aptitude (working with pipe wrenches and tools needed for plant activities and minor maintenance
  • Experience in operating a forklift or ability to learn
  • Participation in plant safety programs
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • Must have good communication skills

  • Compensation: We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of a global bonus program and an individual performance bonus program. The established pay range for this position is $24.37/hr to $29.60/hr. Please note, the actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
