Job Highlights

  • With support of the Head of Quality Assurance, this position will establish comprehensive maintenance system for analytical instrumentation.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, calibration, and stanardization of instruments.
  • Development and validation of new analytical methods, periodic evaluation of the accuracy and validity of existing tests.
  • Review and implementation procedures, calibrations, and preventitive maintenance routine.
  • Source evaluation of raw materials, maintenance and evaluation of raw material records, analysis and disposition of recovered raw materials.
  • With the support of the Head of Quality Assurance facilitate and monitor sample evaluations.
  • Provide analytical support for special projects.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Experience / Skills

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree, Bachelor's preferred, in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of analytical equipment.
  • 2+ years of experience with Agilent GC-FID, GC-MSD, HPLC, ICP-OES and associated software.
  • Demonstrated method development and validation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and some familiarity with SAP, LIMS, and QMS.
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize tasks, work well under time pressure, and possess practical skills to resolve day-to-day laboratory and production operational issues.
  • Successful candidate will be able to communicate with employees across all departments.

The minimum established pay for this position is $74,500. Please note, the actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
