Job Highlights
  • Supervises the day-to-day operations for production to ensure manufactured products meet or exceed all established quality requirements, including product integrity and production while ensuring daily production requirements are carried out in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure processes operate at optimum level in regards to quality and output
  • General supervision, training and development of subordinates
  • Analyze, modify and upgrade existing processes and procedures
  • Assess safety and potential environmental impact of operating units
  • Reduce variation of Key Performance Indicators to improve product performance
  • Investigates and responds to all safety, environmental, and other incidents involving production employees and ensures adherence to all rules, policies, practices and procedures.
  • Recommends improvements in facilities, equipment and manpower utilization to improve product quality and productivity while lowering operational and maintenance costs
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of and commitment to HSE standards and policies
  • Working knowledge of chemical plant processes, equipment, instrumentation and controls preferred
  • Strong time management, problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP
  • Working knowledge of OSHA-PSM; MOC; ISO; LEAN
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred
