Job Highlights

  • Establish comprehensive maintenance system for analytical instrumentation
  • Troubleshooting, calibration and standardization of instruments
  • Review and implementation of procedures, calibrations and preventive maintenance routine
  • Development and validation of new analytical methods, periodic evaluation of the accuracy and validity of existing tests
  • Source evaluation of raw materials, maintenance and evaluation of raw material records, analysis and disposition of recovered raw materials
  • Facilitate and monitor sample evaluations
  • Provide analytical support for special projects
  • Training of Laboratory personnel


  • B.S. degree in Chemistry
  • 5-10 years of experience calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment
  • 2+ years direct experience with Agilent GC-FID, GC-MSD, HPLC, ICP-OES and associated software
  • Demonstrated method development and validation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred: familiarity with SAP, LIMS, QMS
