Job Highlights
  • In adherence with all established procedures, safely and efficiently transfer bulk raw materials from tank trucks to onsite storage tanks
  • Knowledge of and adherence to established restrictions/limitations related to storage tank capacities (verification of truck weights, LITs, and/or physical measurements, etc.)

  • Sample incoming raw materials for moisture/visual analysis

  • Knowledge of and adherence to established procedures related to the use of PPE and fall protection equipment

  • Physically able to climb ladders and perform tasks at elevated heights and physically able to continuously work in adverse/inclement weather conditions

  • Physically able to don/wear chemical resistant clothing and positive/negative pressure respirators for extended periods of time

  • Serve as the Plant liaison to truck drivers – must be respectful and accommodating

  • High school diploma (or equivalency) is required
  • CRC requirements: Locating Information = 4, Reading = 5, and Math = 4

  • Understanding of and experience with pneumatic/mechanical pumping systems is required

  • Experience with bulk transfers is preferred

  • Ability to multi-task with emphasis on Safety and Quality is required

  • Ability to convert °F to °C is required

  • Ability to convert Density/Specific Gravity to pounds/gallon is required

  • Computer skills - Microsoft’s Office Suite is required

  • Understanding of in-house raw material coding system is required
