Job Highlights

Process Chemist Job Highlights:

Batch Tickets & SOP's

  • Oversight of batch ticket generation process to support manufacturing
  • Review of Batch Tickets prior to issuance
  • Create new batch tickets for rework opportunities
  • Create/modify/reveiw procedureal SOP's for batch creation
  • Communicate changes to batch formulations/procedures to Operations, Lab, and Maintenance as necessary

New Products

  • Review PTR documentation
  • Creae batch tickets and SOP's for new product formulations
  • Review & approve product specifications as part of NMRF process

Raw Material Management

  • Review of purchasing specificatons on VMQ portal
  • Approvals of VMQ requests
  • Initiaton of MOC for new raw materials (as appropriate)
  • Update and maintenance of raw material spreadsheet on Sharepoint
  • Update and mainternance of raw material specification manual (QC Lab)

Process Development

  • Perform lab-scale experiments to support eh following (as necesary):
    • New raw material introduction
    • New product introduction
    • Process/product non-confomrity investigation
  • Interface with R&D/Tech Services as require for busniness develoopment, new product devekopment, customer support

DuPont Technical Support

  • Maintain & communicate DuPont product specifications and requirements
  • Interface with operations to ensure processes necessary to achieve product specifications and requirements are met
  • Interface with Global Key Account mgmt. as necessary to communicate about issues with DuPont materials and provide technical information as required
  • Interface directly with representatives from DuPOnt to provide technical assistance as required.
  • Manage Quality Specialist duties, including the following:
    • Maintain SPC charts for all products in MINITAB
    • Update and maintainprocess data spreadsheets & SPC charts in MINITAB
    • Provide directives for continaul improvement actvities as necessar
Requirements
  • BS Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • 3 - 5 Years of experience in a Chemical Business
  • Project Managment Experience Required
