Job Highlights
  • Participates in the preparation for and execution of process hazard analyses (PHA’s). Maintains all Process Safety Information (PSI), site owner for the Management of Change program and ensures all changes are documented properly.
  • Assist in investigations and corrective actions for process and safety incident investigations.
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of process flow sheets and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams.
  • Maintain policies and procedures required to maintain, strengthen, and support ISO, Responsible Care, PSM and Mechanical Integrity programs.
  • De-bottleneck manufacturing processes through the optimization of existing equipment, improved use of resources or the acquisitions of new technology and equipment.
  • Provide technical assistance to operations and maintenance to optimize, improve and troubleshoot processes and process equipment.
  • Provide process control engineering support for the day to day operations of manufacturing operations with support from corporate resources.
  • Uses process data to recommend changes to ensure product quality, and process stability, efficiency, effectiveness, and to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and Responsible Care 14001 preferred
  • Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-reliant with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • OSHA PSM plant experience and knowledge of safe work practices required
  • Project Management experience required
  • Previous experience in chemical or process industry required
  • BS Chemical Engineering, with 5-10 years’ experience
