Job Highlights

  • Perform simulations to analyze potential projects
  • Assist engineers on other projects as assigned
  • Data gathering/organization to populate Process Harzard Analysis
  • Data gathering/organization and verification for mechanical integrity (including digitalization of records)
  • Supporting development of design deliverables on key capital projects. This includes
  • Process/Engineering Flow Diagrams
  • Material and Energy Balances (M&EB's)
  • Equipment sizing and specification
  • Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's)
  • Participating on plant optimization teams to identify opportunities for improvements in cost, capacity, environmental and safety issues.


  • Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or master’s program in an Engineering degree program or relevant filled.
  • Rising Junior, Senior or Graduate students preferred.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate reasoning
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Has a self-starter attitude with a high level of motivation
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • Evidence of leadership skills, working effectively with a team
  • Ability to receive coaching and a desire to enhance learning
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload even when faced with conflicting priorities
  • High level of attention to detail while providing accurate data aligned with departmental standards
