Job Highlights
  • Ensuring uninterrupted services of ETP, STP and Solid waste management.
  • Supervising, monitoring and evaluating vendors for desired deliverables (vendor management)
  • Ensure regular maintenance of equipment of ETP/STP and Laboratory including calibration of ETP critical equipment in coordination with engineering.
  • Responsible for centralized waste facility. Regularize and monitor the process of Hazardous solid and liquid waste collection, sorting, packing in a suitable form and its safe disposal. Suggest measures for waste reduction at source.
  • Responsible for analyzing GPCB and NCT external reports and conduct joint analysis to settle deviation. Coordination and liaison with external laboratories for trials. Liaison with MoEFCC, GPCB, GIDC, NCT, BEIL, Ambuja and JIA.
  • Responsible for Storm water management.
  • Ensuring Site environmental Legal compliance as per the statutory/licensed norms and Lanxess internal compliance in the form of Management of Change (facility, Technology and personnel), Incident investigation, Contractors safety, Risk Assessment etc. pertaining to ETP/STP/Lab/Waste handling area.
  • Ensuring availability of applicable licenses and timely renewal.
  • Ensuring adherence of site (all Business Units) to Lexcore directives related to Environment.
  • Ensuring adherence to ‘Responsible Care’ code for sustainability.
  • Environmental monitoring across the site.
  • Proposing conceptual design to overcome additional pollution load due to upcoming projects and other development activities e.g. ZLD concept including treatability studies.
  • Responsible for Mass awareness campaigns like “World Environment Day“.
  • Identification of training needs and planning of training for Environment team.
Requirements
  • B.E.(Environment) / B.E.(Chemical)
  • More then 10 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
  • Good communication skills.
