Job Highlights


  • Acting as a single point of contact for the Manufacturing Site at Jhagadia. Supporting IT Infrastructure including Networks, Server Room and Workplace environment. Managing Service Providers for the delivery of Desktop Support. Providing application support and ensuring availability of IT services. Understanding the business requirements and coordinating with Central team in realizing them. Implementing new as well as version upgradation for Server and Desktop applications. Fulfill requirements for Operational Technology e.g., Firewall and other interfaces.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the availability and performance of all IT equipment and services including Networks, Servers, Printers and other peripherals, Internet and WAN bandwidth. Liasioning with different stakeholders both internal and external service providers for restoration of services and fault correction.
    Follow incident, problem and change management processes and continuously follow up until resolution. 
  • Coordinating with Central IT Team for configuration and implementation of Life Cycle changes in Server and Network infrastructure and Software version upgrades. Managing and handholding users until stability is achieved. Supporting site specific global projects.
  • As Field support module owner provide details to the Program management team on the requirements at the site.
    Appraising the local Site Management regarding the services and acting as a Single Point of Contact for escalations for all users at the site.
    Identifying improvement measures and communicating with service provider.
    Identifying deviations in processes as well as delivery of correct solution for Field and Remote support at Site.
  • Managing site specific applications like Canteen Management, Contract Management, Gatepass System etc. in coordination within the vendors.
    Understanding and providing configuration support related to IT requirements for implementing Operational Technology (Laboratory Information Management System, OSI-PI Realtime Process Information system, Production Control System) applications, network interfaces and server/client hardware.


Work Experience:  5-10 Years

Education :  BSc. Computer science/BCA
