Global Product Manager (f/m/d)

Job Highlights

 

  • Manages P&L (sales and margin) for the assigned product groups by developing and executing robust pricing strategies and managing cost
  • Partners with the operation teams to define the appropriate asset strategy to win in the market
  • Partners with the procurement team to define a suitable raw material strategy to support sustainable growth and profitability
  • Drives cross-functional operational excellence by aligning all relevant stakeholders to meet and exceed annual targets
  • Manages the product lifecycle by developing and implementing life cycle strategies, including taking over the commercial project lead for new product developments 
  • Develops and executes the product group strategy based on a deep understanding of industry needs, market trends, competitive chances and overall customer drivers
  • Defines and implements the regulatory and sustainability roadmap for the associated product groups

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor (Master’s preferred) in Chemistry, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of product management and/or strategy and/or business development in the chemicals industry
  • Experience in managing cross functional global project teams and external partners in a B2B environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and solid understanding of budget planning, business cases, financial performance reviews, market and competitor analysis
  • Business acumen combined with solutions oriented thinking
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to build credible relationships with internal and external functions
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Excellent Excel, Power BI, PPT and SAP skills
