Job Highlights

• Lead the team of European Master Planners responsible for the 2 productions sites in Europe
• Lead and enhance the global Supply Chain Planning process (S&OP) across multiple sites, ensuring alignment between demand, production, inventory, and logistics strategies.
• Design and implement strategic supply chain concepts to optimize the global network and ensure resilience, efficiency, and scalability across the Business Unit.
• Act as a key member of the S&OP leadership team, driving analytical excellence and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the end-to-end planning process.
• Ensure flawless execution of supply chain plans in daily operations, balancing service levels, cost efficiency, and operational agility.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with production facilities, transport management, procurement, and other Business Units to achieve shared business goals.
• Drive the digital transformation of planning systems and tools, particularly through the implementation and enhancement of ERP and advanced planning systems (SAP S/4HANA, IBP).
• Lead and execute strategic supply chain projects, focusing on process optimization, data-driven decision-making, and best practice standardization within supply chain planning, execution, and logistics.
• Champion change management initiatives, promoting a culture of transparency, collaboration, and data-driven leadership within the organization.

Experience / Skills

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification.
• Extensive professional experience in Supply Chain Planning or Operations Management within an international manufacturing environment, ideally in the chemical or process industry.
• Proven track record of leading and developing diverse teams and managing senior stakeholders at both operational and executive levels.
• Strong expertise with SAP (S&OP, PP, MM, or IBP) and experience in ERP implementation and optimization projects.
• Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to visualize complex supply chain processes, identify optimization opportunities, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Excellent communication and language skills in German and English
• Interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across global teams and functions.
