Intern (f/m/d) Business Process Modeling

LANXESS is a leading specialty chemicals company with sales of EUR 6.8 billion in 2019 and about 14,300 employees in 33 countries. The company is currently represented at 60+ production sites worldwide. The core business of LANXESS is the development, manufacturing and marketing of chemical intermediates, additives, specialty chemicals and plastics.


Starting mid July we are looking for an intern (f/m/d) for 3 months.

Job Highlights / Aufgaben

  • Support of our central Process- and Data governance (PDG) organization to standardize the LANXESS process landscape
  • Modeling of business processes by applying Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standard
  • Getting insights in various end-to-end processes - based on S/4 HANA as our new "digital core"
  • Learning the usage of the tool SAP Solution Manager 7.2
  • Creation of process transparency with process descriptions and step-by-step instruction sets
  • Supporting the development of concepts and guidelines for documentation standards

Requirements / Profil

  • Student in business administration, business informatics, computer science or a comparable course of study
  • First experience in business process modeling and knowledge in BPMN 2.0 are a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • German language skills are benficial
  • Analytical skills, solution oriented and willingness to learn
