Senior Strategy Consultant (f/m/d)

Job Highlights

  • Act as strategic business partner to our Business Units (Polymer Additives, Rhein Chemie and Lubricant Additives Business) in our Additive market segments
  • Co-develop business unit and go-to-market strategies and roadmaps, including regional elements, to drive growth ambitions in those business units
  • Lead and manage strategy projects end-to-end in cross-functional and international teams
  • Conduct market, competitor, and consumer trend analysis and derive actionable strategic recommendations
  • Screen and evaluate potential M&A targets as well as portfolio measures
  • Select and guide external consultants and internal experts in strategy projects
  • Serve as main point of contact for senior management, ensuring alignment and expectation management throughout the project lifecycle
  • Transfer best practices from the chemical industry and beyond to continuously enhance strategic capabilities

Experience and Skills

  • Master’s or PhD degree in chemistry, natural sciences, business administration, engineering, or a related field (with business degrees ideally focused on finance and/or strategy)
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in strategy consulting or in strategy within a major chemical company
  • Strong industry exposure to additive markets
  • High analytical capabilities, strategic and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong social and communication skills with the ability to unify diverse stakeholders in an international environment
  • International experience and mindset preferred
  • Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
