Strategy Consultant (f/m/d) Innovation

Job Highlights

 

  • Manage and develop LANXESS Innovation Community ICom to create value for the company
  • Identify and funnel growth options in trend-supported areas, e.g. Circular Economy, Hydrogen economy into the company
  • Establish structured approach to increase share of external funding for R&D and sustainable investment projects
  • Represent LANXESS for innovation and sustainability topics at associations like VCI, Cefic
  • Support all BUs, GFs, and Regions in the areas of expertise (innovation, funding, sustainable technology trend update, etc.)
  • Lead and manage the annual R&D / F&E report to be presented to the Supervisory Board

Requirements

 

 

  • Completed education in natural sciences, technical or commercial fields (preferably PhD in chemistry)
  • Experience in innovation and R&D in the chemical industry
  • Several years of experience, preferably in applying for and managing public funding (Corporate or/and in a major strategy consultancy)
  • Preferably with international experience and an international mindset
  • High level of analytical capabilities and strategic thinking
  • Fluent in German and English
