Job Highlights

  • Fully remote opportunity in the USA for the WEST COAST territory.
  • Ideally candidates should reside in California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Washington or Oregon.
  • Implement sales plans and strategies for Inorganic Pigments Group (IPG).
  • Gather, assimilate and analyze market and competitive information through customer visits and distribute information through written visit reports.
  • Communicate customer requirements, needs and special requests, to proper internal personnel/departments and organize its implementation.
  • Develop, analyze and update the monthly rolling and annual sales forecasts for the customers in the territory.
  • Make strategic analysis, through data and market studies collection by generating structured reports and graphs to support the commercial needs and decisions.
  • Maintain data in LANXESS (LXS) internal tools (MIX Portal, ICP, CRM Reporting) updated to enhance efficiency of sales performance analysis.
  • Represent the interests of LXS and actively participate on the industry committees and tradeshows.
  • Recommend pricing strategies based on IPG guidelines and evaluate customer requests for special pricing in accordance with those guidelines.
  • Participate in contract negotiations with customers, utilizing sales strategies tools and legal guidance to formalize the commercial relationship, rights and obligations between LXS and the customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration Graduation, a technical degree or a related field or comparable experience.
  • 5 - 10 years of relevant experience.
  • CRM proficiency, Excel, Power Point, and Word MS365 package.
  • Strong data analytics skills; results driven individual.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, organizational, time management and networking skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and anticipate individuals’ motivations and reactions.
  • Travel required up to 75 percent of the time.
