Job Highlights
  • Train as a Cureman, and as Production Planning goes may Perform  the Cutter’s Job the full 8 Hours or will perform Cureman Duties to Fill their Work Load
  • Move Specified Books to and From Cutting Area and follow Book Labeling
  • Cut from one Travel Order at a Time and start with #1 Book
  • Cureman – Follow Piax – Press Operator, Trimmer and Buffer per Work Instructions
  • Scan Press, Work Order, Slugs, Barcode Bladders, Quality Inspect Bladders at their Position, Scan Blabbers to Quality inspect at Trim and Buff.
  • Manufacture bladders according to specifications and schedule.
  • Read gages and understand tolerances;
  • Cutting and splicing bladder slugs;

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED.)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to function independently in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Basic mathematical and computer literacy skills.
  • Superior verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic manufacturing safety and OSHA guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of tire bladder manufacturing and specifications preferred.
  • Current tow motor/forklift operator certification/license.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including overnight and weekend hours.
