Job Highlights
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ensure the cleanliness and appropriate maintenance of QC and lab areas and equipment as required
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Maintain required lab equipment and supplies, verifying contents and ensuring items are stored and maintained appropriately
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assist in preparation and calibration of QC testing and set-up, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and cleaned prior to and following each use
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Adhere to and assist with the application and review of department and HSESQ protocol and written policy, safety procedures and labo regulations;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Support and participate in all company HSE initiatives, processes, audits and investigations
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Perform routine and general sample analysis as needed or required, safely handling, disposing and storing supplies and materials as appropriate;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Dispose and store material samples according to department procedures and guidelines;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Communicate as appropriate with internal colleagues and personnel to ensure all testing is completed in a timely and appropriate manner;
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Participate in the bladder curing operation
Requirements
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or two-year degree preferred.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Previous quality control laboratory experience preferred.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Previous plant manufacturing experience in a chemical production and/or distribution environment preferred.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Basic knowledge of hazardous materials and the appropriate handling and disposal of such products preferred.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Superior oral and written communication and comprehension skills.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Basic knowledge of manufacturing safety OSHA guidelines.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Knowledge of ISO quality and Responsible Care standards preferred
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Basic computer software and data retrieval system knowledge; SAP experience preferred.
