Job Highlights

  • Responsible for production equipment operation and systems used for bladder production, adhering to product quality product specifications, process safety standards and ensuring manufacturing efficiency.
  • Coordinate completion of daily work assignments, documentation and checklists, providing accurate reporting and confirmations for shift changes, closing process orders and maintaining production schedule.
  • Lead and participate in shift meetings and safety sessions, completing job safety analysis as required, reviewing product specifications for proper safety equipment, tool usage and material specifications.
  • Ensure use of PPE, maintaining the condition and storage of equipment, and ensuring personnel adhere to HES guidelines.
  • Lead quality review of equipment operation and production outcomes, troubleshooting manufacturing processes and results for potential errors or issues and reporting them as necessary.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, coordinate process training, administering performance improvement and progressive positive disciplinary actions as appropriate.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and lead continuous improvement projects to implement solutions.
  • Participate in plant productivity, performance and quality meetings, and complete operation audits and investigations as required.
  • Boiler license is preferred.

Requirements

  • Specific Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent (GED.)
    • Minimum ten years experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
    • Minimum five years experience in bladder operations or production environment.
    • Basic mathematical and computer literacy skills.
    • Superior verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Work Experience
    • Knowledge of hazardous waste materials and the appropriate handling and disposal of such products.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of basic manufacturing safety and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.
  • Special Skills
    • Working knowledge of bladder manufacturing specifications and raw materials.
    • Boiler license preferred.
