Job Highlights
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Key responsibiliites include but are not limited to:

Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plant equipment including mixers, conveyors, compressors, pumps, and engines.

Complete work orders, inspections, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Support equipment fabrication, installation, and modification projects.
-
Maintain clean, safe, and organized maintenance areas.

Assist with facility systems such as electrical, plumbing, and hazardous waste handling.

Safely operate welding, drilling, grinding, and other metalworking tools.

Monitor equipment performance, identify issues, and report findings.

Participate in required safety, shift, and quality meetings.

Support seasonal facility tasks, including snow and ice removal.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
2+ years of maintenance experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems; manufacturing preferred (chemical industry a plus).

Ability to read and interpret schematics preferred.

Knowledge of OSHA and hazardous materials handling.

Basic welding, plumbing, and electrical skills.

Arkansas Boiler Operator License or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Forklift/towmotor certification.

Computer literacy and basic math skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotation.

Ability to meet physical and fitness-for-duty requirements.
