Job Highlights

Compliance

  • Responsible to update and maintain the Safety Instrumented System, DCS, and all electrical drawings
  • Responsible to maintain process safety loops and interlock matrices to ensure safe operation of the plant
  • Implement and maintain an Alarm Management system to identify and address all process safety alarms and ensure timely troubleshooting to return the process to a safe operating state
  • Interact with corporate PCT resources to ensure full compliance with technical guidelines and legal and operational regulations and requirements

Maintenance / Malfunctions

  • Experience with and troubleshooting PLC programming, motors, drives, instrumentation, HMI’s, Robotics, and power distribution
  • Approval of maintenance plans and scheduled maintenance work for electrical, instrumentation and control systems
  • Participation in the planning and scheduling of shutdowns
  • Root cause analysis for electrical and instrumentation malfunctions and electrical safety issues

Plant / Process modifications

  • Requests and completes all necessary documentation for process changes within area of responsibility – create and execute MOCs and PSSRs
  • Implement automation and digitalization upgrades in the plant
  • Lead Capital projects, including on-time and in-budget completion, within the scope of responsibility

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5yrs experience in process controls
  • Certifications in Siemen’s, Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Honeywell, Fanuc are a plus
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Time and project management experience, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts across all organizational levels
