Job Highlights

Here are the main requirements-:

  • To assist for legal compliance pertaining Health, Safety and Environment at site by close co-oardination with various department and agencies. Regular review legal register and ensure for legal compliance. 
  • To ensure for occupation health and plant safety at site by implementing Xact, Laxcore directives and legal requirements.
  • To develop and ensure for implementation of accident prevention program using various tools like JSA, Risk assessment, training, RCA, permit auditing etc. 
  • To ensure that all the internal and external audits recommendations are complied appropriately. 
  • To ensure for On-site and Off-site transportation safety with close coordination with Logistic, tank farm and transporters.
  • To audit the transport vehicle checking system, driver councelling program, GPS tracking etc. 
  • HSE training and education: To give training to all the employees and contract workmen as per training calender and TNA. To ensure that all the workmen and contract employees trained as per their job requirement.
  • Environment - To assist for compliance of Environmental regulations.  
    To support for hazardous waste disposal to authorized waste disposal site. 
    To ensure that all the CEMS/ AAQMS system are working in effective condition. 
  • Preparing MIS, RCMS data, HSE KPI data, to support EC compliance.  
  • Emergency response and fire fighting - To train and educate all the employees and contract workmen for emergency response. To ensure that emergency and safety equipments are in effective working condition.
  • PTW system: To ensure for proper implementation of permit to work system, carry out regular audit.  
  • Incident Management system: To implement accident prevention program by conducting JSA, regular inspection, reporting and elimination of Near-hits etc. To ensure for proper reporting of incident, to lead for carry out RCA and implement corrective actions. 

Requirements

The Specifications are-:

  • Education - B.E with Chemical engineering + PG Diploma in Industrial safety, ADIS
  • Work Experience - >5 years
  • Special Skills - 1. Knowledge about legal requirement pertaining to HSE for ex. MP Factory rules, Petroluem rules, MSIHC rules, Gas cylinder rules etc.

                         2. Knowledge about ISO 14000, 45000 etc. 

                         2. Good verbal communication skill with Other dept. managers, shop floor employees and contract workmen
