Manager - HR Services & IR

Responsible for managing HR Operations, Industrial relations, Labour compliances, Labour Union Management and liaisoning and building strong relationships with government authorities and external stakeholders at Manufacturing Sites: 

HR Operations:

  • Oversee & manage HR Operations: Recruitment, Onboarding, Payroll, Leave & Attendance, and Employee Lifecycle.
  • Implement HR policies aligned with organizational and legal requirements.
  • Drive training and development initiatives to upskill the workforce.
  • Promote employee engagement & retentio through welfare programs.

Labor Union Management:

  • Build constructive relationships with labor unions.
  • Handle collective bargaining, wage negotiations, and working condition discussions.
  • Act as a liaison between management and unionized employees to ensure clear communication.
  • Mitigate potential conflicts by fostering collaboration with union leaders.

Industrial Relations & Compliance:

  • Resolve employee grievances and disputes effectively.
  • Conduct disciplinary actions per labor laws and organizational guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws (e.g., Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, Contract Labour Act).
  • Represent the organization in legal proceedings and audits, providing mitigation plans.
  • Conduct Compliance audits & submit compliance reports with management with mitigation plan.

Liaisoning & Stakeholder Management:

  • Maintain relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory filings and compliance reports.
  • Represent the organization in discussions with stakeholders to address legal or regulatory matters.

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field. 10+ years of experience in HR, IR, and liaisoning roles, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment.
