Job Highlights

   Main responsibilities are as follows-:

• To operate the Cogen plant (45 TPH), Process Boiler ( 25 TPH) and Turbine in shifts safely and economically as per guidelines and standard operating practices.
• To shut down the boiler & turbine safely in case of any emergency.
• To have close coordination within the Cogen team & process plant for uninterrupted steam & power supply.
• To guide the Field Engineer for boiler operation & turbine operation and aux equipment to maintain parameters within the prescribed limits.
• To ensure the water quality of the boiler in coordination with the RO operation team.
• To ensure process steam parameters as per standard from extraction and PRDS.To ensure efficient operation of the Cogen( Boiler & Turbine ) as per guidelines of OEM & as per defined SOP.
•  To prepare daily & monthly operation reports of Cogen as per the prescribed format.
• To guide operating staff during troubleshooting and suggest corrective actions whenever required.
• Review the stock/consumption of fuel daily.
• Ensure the maintenance activity is done as planned.

Requirements

1- BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in power plant operation. (Biomass-based co-gen plant preferred)
2- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 8-15 years of experience in field of power plant operation.
3. BOE certificate Mandatory
