Job Highlights

  • Drive analysis of existing production processes to identify areas for improvement, to include identification of alternative processes/equipment and potential instrumentation/control modifications.
  • Assist the Site (Leadership) Team in the development of the Capital Expenditure short and long term plans, and be the leader in defining, justifying and executing approved capital projects at the Site
  • Function as the Site Leader with a focus on Compliance as it pertains to outside reporting entities, as well as on internal standards.  Lead all activities related to Process Safety (PSM, POSM), and function as the Site liaison to internal support groups related to HSE and Corporate Engineering.
  • Responsible for all maintenance activities, to include definition and subsequent oversight/execution of PM activites.  Perform analysis on key equipment and processes to identify potential downtime risks, and put maintenance plans in place to address them.  Create/extend partnerships with external contractors to support maintenance and annual inspection requirements on equipment as needed.
  • Participate in Site Leadership Team (SLT) activities to include planning meetings, with a focus  on effective communication and collaboration to put plans in place and work with all departments to deliver successful projects and proper equipment maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Experience within a Chemical or Food/Beverage manufacturing environment, advanced experience with focus on Process Engineering, project scope development/design/execution, maintenance planning and execution.  PSM experience highly desired
  • Minimum of 5-10 years experience within a manufacturing environment(s), with a focus on engineering and maintenance functions.  Lead or planninng role in maintenance functions highly desired, engineering individual contributor role strongly considered.
  • Experience with process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation drawings, CAD software required.  Experience generating project plans for short and long term, management of projects with thorough exection is also required.
  • Highly organized with the ability communicate up and down the organization, as well as to external customers and contacts.
  • Self management - ability to think and operate independently and manage time well while maintaining communication with the SLT, Computer proficient with expertise in  the use of Microsoft  office: SAP experience highly desired.
