Job Highlights

  • Develop master production schedule to meet customer demand and maximize production efficiency and capacity constraints.
  • Develop detailed daily schedule using the planning and execution systems (PPDS/SAP).  Daily, weekly, monthly, review of existing and future production planning and preparations and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Plan raw material replenishment and place purchase requisitions.  Monitor to ensure raw materials arrive on time to support the production plan.  Monitor the usage of key raw materials by utilizing planning and execution systems and by working with the procurement and manufacturing departments.
  • Maintain master data and parameters to best utilize planning and production systems.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to reduce cost of goods.
  • Provide data analysis and reporting to the business as needed.
  • Support new product development by working with both Product Development and R&D.
  • Expedite flow of materials, processes and schedules to hit On Time Delivery in full.
  • Assist in implementing solutions with sense of urgency.
  • Strong cross-functional skills needed to coordinate personnel and eliminate delays.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Technical/Engineering, Science, or similar.
  • APICS Certification preferred.
  • 4-7 years of work experience required; preferably at least 2-3 years of scheduling experience.
  • Experience in and proficiency with internal computer systems, including SAP and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Excellent problem solving, negotiating, and written/oral communication skills in dealing with external and internal contacts.
  • Project management and leadership experience preferred.
