Job Highlights

  • Helps to achieve maximum productivity within the plant by loading and unloading bulk materials.
  • Complete relevant paperwork, conducts inspections, and maintains records – utilize SAP.
  • Implements safe work practices including permit procedures, use of personal protective equipment, housekeeping, etc. Reports unsafe act or condition promptly.
  • Demonstrates initiative.  Utilize troubleshooting skills to resolve issues. Works with a minimum of supervision.  Assists and trains other in the department as necessary.
  • Participates in implementing team decisions, initiatives, etc.
  • Attends plant and departmental training and meeting as required.
  • Familiar with, and able to implement, incident response procedures.
  • Must be able to read and follow standard operating procedure as well as follow regulatory requirements including OSHA, NJDEP, etc., related to the position.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of experience, preferrably in a chemical/manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to follow prodecures and phases of the operations.
  • Experience working with SAP, DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and Microsoft Excel.
