Job Highlights

  • Manage assigned accounts to achieve targeted results such as volume, revenue, pricing, on time delivery, accounts receivable, and payment terms.  Manage customer relationships and solve account problems to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Generate and follow up on potential leads from Inquires in order to grow volume and achieve target objectives.   Develop new business opportunities and drive business growth within assigned territory
  • Develop a broad knowledge of product and customer applications, markets and needs of customers in order to support PLA product lines
  • Manage customer complaints, solve problems through development of strong relationships among Lanxess departments in order to resolve complaints, and communicate updates to customers.
  • Manage Lanxess procedures/systems across PLA businesses to support business objectives, such as Pricing, IBP, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.  Provide Lanxess management with product application, business updates, and forecasts of customers through the CRM Customer Visit Report System.

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills, strong written and verbal communication required.  
  • 2+ years previous sales experience preferred.
  • BA or BS degree required technical degree such as chemistry or engineering beneficial.
  • Highly motivated and goal focused, able to work in an independent environment, maintain a positive attitude and be a team player. 
  • Able to balance multiple priorities and remain organized.
  • Knowledge of business practices and a strong decision maker.
