Accounts Payable Specialist Intern

Job Highlights

  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of vendor invoices.
  • Ability to maintain good relations with the external vendors to avoid disruption of services vital to LANXESS.
  • Adhere to sound accounting principals and practices.
  • Maintain compliance to tax and regulatory issues for the U.S. and Canada.
  • Enter invoices into SAP.
  • Interaction with GPL, requisitioner or vendor to resolve or expedite issues/problems.
  • Multiple internship opportunities available November, 2022 through November, 2023 with flexible hours.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current student working on a higher education degree in Finance, Accounting or a closely related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience of experience in an accounting or data entry function preferred.
  • Previous experience with SAP or other enterprise software an advantage.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication required.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
