Job Highlights

  • Receive, review, prioritize and enter customer orders into the SAP system in an efficient and timely manner to meet customer requirements
  • Confirm availability of material with inventory planner. Coordinate the efficient movement of freight with the corporate logistics department to meet internal/external requirements
  • Investigate and resolve customer deductions; identifies and corrects contributing factors to avoid future deductions
  • Process all customer inquiries and coordinates answers to customers
  • Monitor product allocations together with Supply Chain Planner and BL Management at times of shortages
  • Recommend and execute corrective actions for problems encountered in shipping, billing and damaged or returned inventory
  • Communicate to the central logistics department internal and external supplier non-compliance issues for entry into the LMS -SCAR/CAR reporting system
  • Create and close customer complaints following the APRIL STAR process; communicate the result of the investigation to the customers in close cooperation with the sales manager
  • Develop strong working relationships with external customers
  • Credit and debit notes, Pricing block removal, Credit block removal , Customer Master Data entry/change requests

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Previous customer service experience (3-5 years) would be a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication and time management skills; a proficient working knowledge of Lotus Notes, MS Office Products and SAP.
  • Proficiency in prioritizing customer orders and sound decision making when circumstances arise.
