Job Highlights

  • Work with the process and business teams to develop  the FEL 1 and FEL 2 budget and timeline according to the electrical, instrumentation and process controls scope of work (PCT requirements) for the project in close agreement with the main stakeholders (PM, other disciplines, operations)  in the project definitions phases (FEL1, FEL2) 
  • Collaborate with the project team to review third party engineering and construction bids.  Review resumes and make recommendations to select third party discipline leads from the engineering design firm.
  • Develop and implement execution-, procurement- and construction strategy and keep this updated to actual progress. Manage all changes focusing on the project goals by setting and implementing suitable countermeasures taking interdisciplinary collaboration with all disciplines, business demands and operational necessities into account and ensure appropriate stakeholder management.
  • Supervise and control all electrical and instrumentation (PCT) engineering design to ensure efficient(cost effectve) and on schedule management of all activities.
  • Manage the sourcing of electrical equipment and instrumentation to ensure all are purchased and delivereed to meet the design and construction timeline. 
  • Work with the PCT organization to create and maintain corporate standards

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent, PMP is preferred
  • >10 years of relevant experience
  • Capital Design of Instrumentation and/or electrical and/or automation disciplines
  • Experience with DCS conversion projects
  • Operations experience
  • Project Execution experience
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%
