EHS Data Management Analyst

Job Highlights
  • With guidance maintains data in SAP EHS Product Safety Module including component and product l compositions, physchem data and toxicology and ecotoxicology data
  • Interact with regulatory, business and IT colleagues to review and update data using best practices in SAP, expert rules, and ensuring quality of regulatory reports
  • Provide assistance  to ensure regulatory compliance in the company’s EHS operations.  Support statistical data on the quantity and type of regulatory issues; support  documentation creation per business (i.e. product portfolio sustainability, Verisk 3E updates)
  • Back-up for analyzing data to provide solutions to issues with raw materials and assist with the releasing of Info record and PO blocks in SAP  
  • Assign US, Canadian and Mexico  HTS to LANXESS products and support requests from TTC and Import Reps
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or related science field.  Chemistry course work above general chemistry is required.
  • Highly recommended: demonstrates technical knowledge of SAP EHS system
  • Highly recommended: demonstrates knowledge of current US and Canadian regulatory requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge of college level chemistry is required. 
  • Exhibits individual problem-solving skills necessary for determining the appropriate solution to requests and issues
  • Displays strong interpersonal skills in order to provide effective support even when working under tight time constraints. Maintains results oriented focus. 
  • Able to communicate with various levels of management throughout LANXESS and to relate proactively with internal business colleagues and other group function colleagues.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
