Export Customer Service Representative

Job Highlights

  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments and customers, ensuring customer needs are met in a timely, professional manner.
  • Receive and process domestic and international customer orders and requests.
  • Complete export shipments accurately and in accordance with domestic and international regulations.
  • Create and maintain appropriate shipping documentation.
  • Partner with production scheduling, inventory planning, and sales department personnel to maintain the appropriate levels of inventory and materials.
  • Provide leadership and mediation for customer complaints or billing issues, effecting conflict and problem resolution in an efficient, professional manner.
  • Comply with Department of Transportation regulations through annual training and documentation completion;
  • Assist in achieving departmental goals for DIO, On Time Delivery, and Budget.
  • Follow all ISO and HESQ compliances.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five years professional experience in a service delivery and/or customer-focused function, export experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working with domestic and international warehousing and logistical operations; manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Superior mathematical and computer literacy skills; SAP experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts across all organizational levels in an efficient, professional manner.
  • Previous ISO standards knowledge, experience or training.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote teambuilding and integrity, while supporting Group and Company objectives.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function independently in a team environment and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to apply the appropriate level of priority to responsibilities, assignments and follow-up tasks.
  • Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, flexibility and adaptability.
