Job Highlights

  • Assist the project manager in the develop, specify and supervise all necessary activities to ensure the project goals are delivered on time to budget and quality in a safe manner and manage deviations from targets by setting and implementing suitable countermeasures
  • Develop and agree scope, budget and timeline according to the project requirements and manage all changes focusing on the project goals taking business demands into account.
  • Assist in defining resourcing strategy and supporting concept, specify roles, supervise implementation and manage all related LXS disciplines, contractors and ensure appropriate involvement of BU- and Corporate representatives.
  • Assist in the development of the project execution-, procurement- and construction strategy, ensure implementation of execution-, procurement- and construction concept and track the efficiency.
  • Professional development with exposure to broad technical organization, including experts in project management, design engineering, process safety, occupational safety, manufacturing maintenance, etc.
  • Work closely with discipline engineering leads to learn how they support a capital project.


  • Completed at least your Sophomore year of college/university working toward an Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Classroom experience in core chemical engineering or other engineering disciplines (e.g. mass/energy balances, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics) with prior intern/co-op experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and structured work style
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
