Job Highlights

  • Collects information on customer needs and collaborates on the development of account plans
  • Build, coordinate and maintain multi-level and multi-functional intercompany relationships with accounts, as well as internal teams.
  • Obtain and implement the product forecasts into the forecasting system for the customer portfolio. Meet or exceed annual goals within the account base and maximize sales results by execution of sales contracts and outlined strategy
  • As required, document customer call reports, distributor reviews, industry information, and development opportunities.
  • Develop detailed knowledge and understanding of product line technology, competitive environment and industry structure.
  • Continuously provide meaningful information to marketing and pricing teams.
  • Investigate and identify growth opportunities for new and existing products and customers as requested by the marketing team and in line with business unit goals.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Chemical Sales experience
  • Experience with ingredients for Consumer Markets
  • Technical or Business bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Business Administration or Chemistry preferred.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written), Excellent written and verbal presentation skills;
  • Self-starter who works well independently and in a team environment.
  • Understand customer needs, market trends, key customers (on a global point of view), raw materials and formulations.
  • Secure competitive information and analyze, predict and recommend competitor actions in collaboration with sales manager and marketing
  •  Ability to travel up to 50%.
