Main Responsibilities

  • Actively support site maintenance / reliability teams in development of asset maintenance, reliability and compliance strategies and goals.
  • Integral member of the PTSE Americas Leadership Team.  Participate in developing and executing the strategy and leveraging expertise within the team in support of achievement of plant goals and issues resolution.
  • Provide expertise in analysis of equipment and work process performance data in support of developing continual improvement plans as it relates to improving efficiency of the maintenance organization, improved asset reliability and optimization of plant costs.
  • Develop and conduct training in MI processes and procedures and provides coaching to site engineers and maintenance team in use of MI programs.
  • Establish and implement tools that support Maintenance performance tracking and CIP.
  • Identify, locate and help manage key resources necessary to support achievement of organizational or plant projects / goals.
  • Set-up and run improvement programs targeting key identified areas.
  • Participate within the regional and global Maintenance & Reliability community to share knowledge and facilitate networking between businesses / assets and between PTSE and the sites.
  • Develop and deploy key standards and processes necessary to support improvement in performance and compliance across the region
  • Support Maintenance programs such as training process engineers, project engineers and reliability engineers on MI processes and procedures.
  • Develop key relations with Plant Leadership and Maintenance personnel.
  • Provide support to input into capital projects, replacement projects and closely cooperate with process engineering supporting on mechanical integrity (MI) program development.
  • Provide QA/QC function and quality checks
  • Define and execute strategies for systematic predictive / preventive maintenance
  • Act as conduit or bridge to CM Global Support Team, utilizing their expertise to resolve issues and make improvements in region.
  • Identify and manage external resources supporting CM activities at the sites

 

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree (BS,MS) from an accredited university in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  • Significant experience in plant maintenance systems, work processes, KPIs, etc.
  • Experience in criticality based maintenance, usage of analytical tools as RCM, FMEA, RCA
  • Plant Operations Experience
  • People Leadership Experience
  • Ability to domestic and international short term travel up to 30%.
  • Ability to effectively utilize results of analysis to implement improvement measures;
  • Structured/organized working style to support the continuous improvement process within the project team and inspection group;
  • Ability to create and maintain reliable customer relationships, internal & external.
